Sailing in Pittwater – Sydney

Pittwater is a stunning cruising destination and so close to central Sydney, it makes for a lovely long weekend trip from New Zealand. Call in to the Sydney fish market to pick up some fresh seafood to enjoy along the way.

We chartered a 35′ Beneteau and cruised around the many protected bays and anchorages, enjoying lunch at Cottage Point Restaurant which is set on the water and has a jetty you can tie up to.

The beaches are beautiful golden sand, and there are some lovely sheltered bays with lots of moorings in them.

We had a lovely time and I would highly recommend coming to visit.
