One of the facebook groups I am in had some great suggestions on podcasts to listen to. So I have copied them here so I can check them out some time. The things they liked best about podcasts were that they could be played at night on your ipod to keep you awake but not destroy your night vision like reading a book or looking at the iPad
- DNTO – Definitely not the Opera
- CBC Quirks & Quarks
- CBC Ideas
- http://www.abc.net.au/services/podcasting
- Vinyl Cafe on CBC

- NPR… TAL, Fresh Air, Snap Judgement.

- RadioLab (NPR, best popular science ever, made even TAL blush when they came on), Planet Money (NPR, more about societies in general than just money), The Moth (intriguing true stories told live on stage, not stand-up but often funny), Dan Savage’s Lovecast (the most entertaining relationship and sex advice ever), Here’s the thing (NPR, Alec Baldwin does indepth interviews with famous people), Car Talk (NPR, two brothers in studio get calls from listeners about car issues, always very funny).
